Kindergarten Entrance Registration Process/Policy
Parents/guardians of incoming Kindergarten students must submit a Pre-Admittance Application form for approval by Central Administration as the first step in Kindergarten registration. Pre-Admittance for Resident Students
Parents/guardians of students registering for the first time must complete a Pre-Admittance Application that requires verification of residence in the Rye City School District. The Resident Student Pre-Admittance Application Packet follows, along with detailed instructions.
In-District Change of Address
Those changing residence within the District are required to complete an In-District Change of Address Notification.
Committee on Pre-School Special Education (CPSE)
In order to have your child evaluated through the School District a Student Evaluation Pre-Admittance Application must be completed.

All completed applications, along with supporting documentation, should be submitted to the Business Office at 411 Theodore Fremd Avenue, Suite 100S, Rye, NY 10580.

Non-Resident, Tuition-Paying Students
If you are interested in having your child attend Rye City Schools as a non-resident, tuition-paying student, you must complete the Pre-Admittance Application below. Tuition for non-residents for the 2015-16 school year is as follows: for Grades K-5: $22,090 and for Grades 6-12: $27,633. For additional information, please call (914) 967-6100 ext. 6282.

Board Policy on Non-Resident Students
A student withdrawing or transferring should make an appointment at the appropriate school to complete the necessary forms. This should be done at least two days prior to departure to ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained and that all school-owned books and materials are returned. No transcripts will be released or forwarded to the student’s new school until all books and materials are either returned or paid for.
