Voter Registration
Residents can register to vote prior to May 3, 2016áby completing the attached form. Voters can also register in person at the District Office, 411 Theodore Fremd Avenue Suite 100S, on April 19 between the hours of 4-8 p.m. For more information, click here.

Board of Education ElectionáCandidates

Two Board of Education seats are open this year. Candidates may pick up packets beginning March 29 in the District Office, 411 Theodore Fremd Avenue Suite 100S, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Nomination to candidacy must be made by the submission of petitions which include the names of 100 qualified voters in the Rye City School District. Petitions must be submitted no later than April 27, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Blank petitions are included in candidate packets.​For more information, please clickáhere.

Absentee Ballots:
Absentee ballot applications may be downloaded here. Applications for absentee ballots must be received by the Rye City School District District Clerk or Board of Registrars at least seven days (by May 10, 2016) before the vote if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter by the school district, or by the day before the vote (May 16, 2016), if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter. An absentee ballot must be received at the Rye City School District Central Administration Office, 411 Theodore Fremd Avenue, Suite 100S, Rye, NY 10580 by 5 PM, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in order to be valid.
